I have a true passion for British crafts, sustainability and the very best quality. I advocate the British crafts movement and believe that traditional skills deserve to be preserved, celebrated and passed on to future generations.
What began as a chance discovery quickly became a vocation. I was drawn to the artistry, precision and craftsmanship that upholstery demands, and continue to develop my skills to create beautifully restored and reimagined furniture that stands the test of time.
At Fine Cut Upholstery, every project is approached with care, attention to detail and respect for the piece's history. Whether restoring a much-loved family heirloom, reviving an antique chair or transforming a contemporary piece, my goal is always the same: to deliver exceptional workmanship while retaining character and individuality.
Sustainability is at the heart of everything I do. Reupholstering existing furniture is one of the most environmentally responsible choices a homeowner can make. Rather than sending quality furniture to landfill, I help clients breathe new life into pieces they already love, using traditional techniques and high-quality materials wherever possible.
I take great pride in offering a personal service, working closely with clients to understand their vision and helping them select fabrics, finishes and details that suit both their furniture and their home. Learning Never Stops
I am a great believer that learning never stops. Every new project teaches me something new. Its one of the many reasons I enjoy this craft. I am currently undertaking my second year of a three year Association of Master Upholsters and Soft Furnishers (AMFSU) Diploma. This is the only accredited, industry-recognised professional training qualification as part of my continued professional development plan.
